Rare Cream "Live At Klooks Kleek 1966" UK EMIdisc 12" Mono Acetate/Lacquer Disc Never Officially Released
Klooks Kleek was a club in the Railway Hotel in Hempstead, London. It was a popular venue on the performance circuit because of its blues aware audience. On Tuesday, November 15th, 1966 Cream performed and was recorded there. Cream had begun touring at the end of July 1966, barely a month after beginning serious rehearsals as a unit. This recording preceded their first studio LP "Fresh Cream".
It is reasonably recorded considering the era. Balance is good with only the vocals slightly distant. Historical.
The seller has had this item since the early 70's and has been personally played only twice, once to transfer to digital. Prior to the seller's acquisition, the disc had been played, but how many times unknown.
