Description



Up for auction is this rare southern Rock private pressing lp by Coyote (Cast Off Your Old Tired Ethics). On the Old Dog Records label DRP-8335, 1983. Southern Rock, Hard Rock. I read only 700 were pressed and sold at motorcycle rallies and at shows. Very hard-to-find locally-distributed album. Morgantown, North Carolina. David Tenery wrote most of the songs & played electric & acoustic guitar, plus electric mandolin, harmonica & lead vocals. Nice three-member horn section, too. Opens with "Peter Gunn", written by "Henery" Mancini. Bobby Whitlock appears on record. He played with the Stones on Exile on Main Street. Also was in Delaney and Bonnie and Derek and the Dominoes. Through Clapton he played on George Harrison's, "All things must Pass". Near Mint vinyl. The Sleeve is Very Good Plus (VG+). No splits. Minor ring wear. Side one has WEEZ written at top for some reason with pen. Doesn't come up for sale very often. Hot guitar. Some funny lyrics on a few. Master tapes were lost so no more will be pressed. The CD was taken from a lp not the master tapes.
