Description

Released by Coxsone Records in 1968, cat # CS-7035; this is “Mojo Girl” by Nora Dean (credited to Marcia Griffiths) c/w “Tell Me That You Love Me” by The Hamlins.

 

This is our latest batch of simply stunning sixties ska and rocksteady all from the same collection – see our “me” page if you are new to our auctions. This is our twentieth week of reggae singles and the quality so no signs of reducing! I don’t think there is anyone else in the UK at present offering MINT or UNPLAYED reggae of this quality. You have to ask yourself – will you ever see these singles in this condition again?

 

Both labels are unmarked with no spindle marks on either label. There is one small surface mark on the B-side playing surface. The rest of the vinyl is unmarked. Having widened the spindle hole before playing, I’m tempted to say this record was unplayed. The A-side had a tiny bit of surface noise on first play, but we are talking slight here! For a first ever play after sitting in a box for 39 years, I think allowance should be given! The B-side was slightly better than the A-side…………..The record grades as at least excellent – though I think this is very, very critical!

 

Postage and packing for one record will be £1.10 UK, £1.80 Europe and £2.50 USA and the Rest of the World. For two records, the costs are £1.30 UK, £2.20 Europe and £3.20 USA and the Rest of the World.

 

Insurance is extra and will be required if the value of the record or overall consignment exceeds £28.

 

Payment by PayPal is preferred for all customers; though I will accept cheques or postal orders for UK customers. Overseas customers must pay by Paypal unless agreed otherwise prior to auction end.
