Description

A fine collection of country blues recordings prewar to postwar, late 1920s to mid 1950s. Some artists are well known like Frank Stokes, Blind Boy Fuller and Elmore James, while many are artists who only recorded a few sides then disappeared. Volumes 1 & 2 have notes on the back but not #3 for some reason, which has a list of the label's releases. The vinyl of 1 & 2 is near mint; #3 is EX with two inaudible shallow scratches on side one. The jacket of # 2 is near mint; #1 looks almost near mint but has a 3/4" seam split bottom right. Vol. 3's jacket is VG+ with edge wear, corner damage and light soil.
