The Wetbacks, Jose Jiminez, part 1 / Part 2. Wildcat 0047, VG+ condition with high gloss, minimal wear, three inaudible hair scratches, perfect labels. Don't be fooled by the title: this is a solid instrumental grinder, w/ gtr and wailing sax; you can hear a part of the tune at:

Historical note, for those who are puzzled by the title of this record. Bill Dana was a comedy writer/performer in the 1950s who created and portrayed an all-purpose hispanic character. He got a lot of mileage out of this, and "My name? Jose Jiminez" became a popular catch-phrase. I had always thought of Dana as a one-shtick pony but his Wikipedia entry lists a fairly-impressive resume. That any group (even a studio band, as I suspect these guys were) could, apparently with impunity, call themselves "The Wetbacks" speaks volumes about the state of white-brown relations in Texas during the early 1960s.
