Continental Gaities – 78rpm RCA Victor Set #S-45
Produced and Directed By Henri Rene
With and all star cast:
Mischa Borr's Roumanian Gypsy Orchestra,
Sidor Belarsky, Bass Baritone,
Blanka Peric, Yugoslavian Folk Dancer,
Greta Keller, International Chanteuse,
Mirko And His Guitar.
RCA Victor International Set (dates about 1945?)
Complete in 5 ten-inch shellac records.
Disc Conditions: All 5 records are E+/NM- for surface and sound, HOWEVER
the set was damaged and the following discs have the following edge chip damage and signal groove loss. The damage for each numerated disc as follows:
Disc #25-0064 Sides 1 & 2 = A side No Damage B side edge chip at least a dozen of the first groove lines are lost about 9 of them signal lines.
Disc #25-0065 Sides 3 & 4 = A side about 10 signal lines are lost. B side No Damage
Disc #25-0066 Sides 5 & 6 = A side No Damage B side = about three lines are lost, but no
first signal line is lost.
Disc #25-0067 Sides 7 & 8 = A side No Damage B side = About 9 signal lines are lost.
Disc #25-0068 Sides 9 & 10 = A side about the first three signal lines are lost. B side No Damage.
Album Cover Condition: VG+ spine has fallen off but tape repaired back on, gray duck tape
holding the inside cover boards to the sleeves inside.
This is a rare set, and you don't see many copies. The damage is on five of the sides. Five sides
are perfect. Again the records are all excellent plus near mint minus for surface and sound, but
the edge damage on five sides is a bummer!

With a plus or minus depending on variables such as how much groove luster remains, sound quality, wear and
abuse. 78rpm records can look bad but sound great! They stand up to abuse much better than LP's or 45's!
