Description
Extremely rare, one of a kind acetate 10" reference discs for two 1979 Connie Smith songs: "Don't Say Love" and "Ten Thousand and One". The songs were issued as stand-alone singles in 1979 by the Monument label and never appeared on albums. The acetates were likely pressed for the producer or artist to review for approval. The "Ten Thousand and One" acetate features an 'old mix' of the song on one side and a 'new mix' on the other side. The "Don't Say Love" acetate is single-sided with no music on the B side. Both are housed in generic manila sleeves.
The acetates are in good condition with several marks but most appear to be outside the playing area. I have not listened to the acetates so I can't confirm that they play perfectly.
