Description
A very rare recording. 1st U.K. pressing, Columbia/EMI `Blue / Silver` label.
I have played this record completely through on both sides using quality equipment.
There is some surface noise as would be expected from a vintage LP which would probably benefit from a professional clean. There is a very small amount of wear around the centre hole as can be seen in pictures 4 & 7. Overall this LP looks to have had light use.
Picture 6, bottom right, shows a surface `scuff` which I had to take photos of several times at the correct angle in natural light to show show in a photo (the bar shaped shadows are reflections of the spars in my conservatory roof).
I specifically played this part of the LP several times - it looks worse than it actually is, and has only a minor impact on replay. It`s not anything like a scratch or other similar deeper damage in terms of its impact and can just be heard like a little more surface noise in terms of `amount`, but not volume/sound level (if that makes sense?).
Having listened to it I`d have to say it doesn`t detract from or interfere with the music which still comes clearly through with all the attributes you`d expect from a superlative recording & pressing. This scuff may also benefit from a pro clean possibly.
Overall the disc is in super condition, and I`d rate it as at least EX, probably EX+
The cover as you can see in pictures 1, 2 & 3 has some laminate lifting and corner wear.
International bids welcome. Please ask for a shipping quote to your location. All shipping quotes shown are estimates only. Europe will be around £12. This LP will be shipped in a sturdy LP box, tracked & signed for.
