Description

Here is a gem of a record for the serious enthusiast of 1920s New Orleans Jazz. I have owned this rare record for about 25 years. I need to downsize my collection as I have more records than anyone needs.

This is an original Columbia Viva-Tonal record #14539-D both sides performed by SAM MORGAN'S JAZZ BAND. The record is graded E and plays with incredible vitality but does have some minor issues which I will note. Here are the titles and details:

SING ON (143978) Composed by Sam Morgan. This side has a real light scuff and some other marks not affecting the play. Grooves look great with almost no greying. No steel needle digs. Plays great on modern equipment.

OVER IN THE GLORY LAND (145003) No composer given. This side has a few lighter scuffs That are not very noticable and also an edge flake typical to the Columbia laminated records. I have provided a photo to help you. This does not come close to the recorded area. Almost no groove greying. No steel needle digs. Plays super loud and clear on modern equipment.
