Description

Original UK Bronze label stereo press double LP.
  Their fourth & final album released by Bronze Records in June 1971 in the UK and recorded at Manchester University & The Big Apple Club in Brighton in March. The cover was designed by Keef, but the PVC inner sleeves proved to be expensive and a disaster for the records, the foam liners damaging the vinyl, so later reissues were in standard gatefold sleeves.

This is the original issue with the PVC inners inside the AVPAK sleeve and the records with the ICD-1 & ICD-2 catalogue numbers and A-1U, B-1U & A-1U, B-2U matrices of the 1st presses.

The Sound Packaging matt gatefold Stereo sleeve is intact, with the pink PVC inners still attached and in VG+ condition. There is some corner/edge wear and light storage rubbing/creasing on the front cover, with storage rubbing on the PVC inners. The spine is intact, slightly edge worn and fully readable.   The records are in visually EX+ condition and have not been damaged by the inners, sides 1 & 2 only have one or two faint hairlines and sides 3 & 4 have a couple more sleeve removal hairlines and scuffs visible on each side. The labels are in EX+ condition, clean & bright with evidence of one or two faint spindle markings on sides 1 & 2 and a couple of faint spindle markings on sides 3 & 4.   The sound reproduction is EX+, clear & precise throughout with definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some low background noise during the run in grooves. Overall, a really great, loud & clear listen.   The matrix nos. are;
ICD-1, A-1U mother stamper 1-AD, B-1U mother stamper 1-AH, ICD-2, A-1U mother stamper 2-AO, B-2U mother stamper 1-GO. This is one of the early pressings of the original 1971 UK stereo 1st issue of this album!
