Description
I have a "Snow White" 78 RPM Album Victor with 2 10" 78s featuring original songs "(f)rom the Walt Disney Feature film: "SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS"). I think it may be collectible; I can tell you that I bought it at a record store in the late Eighties where it was hanging on the wall and I paid $10 for it, which is the most I have ever paid for a 78 album. it has been hanging in brackets on my wall ever since. I took it down and played it yesterday and it plays pretty well, a little hiss and some noise but overall, the songs played fine all the way through. The songs are as follow:
Victor 25735-A: "WITH A SMILE AND A SONG . . . As Originally Sung by Snow White (with dialogue and sound effects)"
Victor 25735-B: "'DIG-A-DIG-DIG" and "HEIGH HO". . . As Originally Sung by the Seven Dwarfs (with dialogue and sound effects)"
Victor 25736-A: "'I'M WISHING" and "ALONE SONG" . . . As Originally Sung by Snow White and the Prince (with dialogue and sound effects)"
Victor 25736-B: "WHISTLE WHILE YOU WORK . . . As Originally Sung by Snow White (with dialogue and sound effects)"
There is a water stain on front cover and the binding is missing a 2" piece at bottom and split front seam from top to bottom (see pictures). Album is basically sound and inside and back cover panels are clean. The second platter his a slightly damaged spindle hole which is still intact under the label as a result of the label glue.
