Description

Here we go!! Offering the super rare original 1958 Yellow Cover KING 559 LP by "Clyde McPhatter with Billy Ward and His Dominoes".  I normally would not offer a record for auction that was visually graded below VG+, but for this album I'm making an exception.  The cover shows moderate wear and has had seam splits at top and bottom which were repaired with magic tape (doesn't show too badly).  There isn't any handwriting on cover or label, but there is a stamp showing the original retailer or owner on both front and back (R.A. Geddies, Jr, 79 Coming Street, Charleston, SC). If the record was graded solely by playing, it could easily pass for VG+.  Visually, I would grade this LP at G+ to VG-.  As is usally the case with these early King recordings, it plays much better than it looks.  I played both sides completely and was very impressed.  There was no skips and very few pops or surface noise.  Tracks:
