Clive Dunn – Grandad Requests 'Permission To Sing, Sir' (Children's Vocal Novelty Pop Soundtrack) LP (1970)
Decent British 1st release.
Condition VINYL: G+. Superbly clean and on visual inspection. A few very faint hairlines and a 1cm scuff on side 1, track 4. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is good throughout – and very good in places. Run-ins have light static / mild crackling. The odd click and pop and very light static between and during quieter cues/fadeins/fadeouts but vocals, effects and instrumentals sound great. Plays with no skipping, jumping or sticking. An enjoyable listen. OUTER SLEEVE/COVER: G+. Colours are clear and unfaded on superb laminated front sleeve with paper back. Mild scuffs to one corner and aperture. Spine and edges in decent shape. Curved creases and several creases in from all sides on front. Delamination bubble near bottom right. Some rippling/crinkling and yellowing along aperture edge. No stains, marks or rips on front but some light marks – mainly to left and around disc ring – on back. INNER SLEEVE: NM. Original MfP EMI white paper sleeve with rounded corner. No creasing, crinkling, rips or stains. Intact. A superb example..
