This exquisite UK 1st mono pressing dates from initial January 1963 release.

It is on the black & blue Columbia label: 33SX 1472


Matrix numbers: XAX 2421-1N & XAX 2422-1N

Stamper codes: 1/RH & 1/AA

Vinyl weight: 161g


Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover.

Complete with original printed inner-sleeve.

 

CONDITION

Labels: NEAR MINT

An immaculate pair showing just one or two tiny spindle marks around each unworn centre hole.

Disc:

Visual: EXCELLENT +

Audio: NEAR MINT

Played just a couple of times, both side of this disc are clean & glossy with the only noticeable blemishe being a light, non-feebale/audible scuff line on side 2. Audibly, everything is clean & totally unworn throughout.

Cover: NEAR MINT

A common album but seldom found in such pristine condition.
Nearly every aspect is 'as new with just a very light shelfwear to the corner tips preventing 'MINT'.

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT

A few soft light storage wrinkles only.


Tough to find better.


This early pressing is on the textured black & silver Philips label: BL.7691 Matrix numbers: 14562 1L//1 & 14562 2L//1Stamper codes: 11 C2 212 & 11 2C 15Vinyl weight: 152g Housed in a heavy card stock front laminated UK printed cover with paste-on rear panel. Complete with original poly-lined inner-sleeve. CONDITIONLabels: NEAR MINTA clean & unworn set bearing no more than 2/3 faint spindle trails around unworn centre holes.DiscVisual: NEAR MINTFactory-fresh deep-gloss playing surfaces which are unmarked and 'as new' in strong daylight. Even close examination directly beneath halogen light reveals nothing more than a few barely visible wispy hairlines & a sparkling rainbow shine.Audio: MINTPlayed once or twice only, the sound is clean & unworn with all the quality & dynamics one would expect of such a disc of this condition.Cover: NEAR MINTA beautifully clean & strong example which retains an unscratched & unworn high-gloss front panel free from any creasing or 'thumbnail' wrinkles. Apart from a tiny rub to the tip of the upper right corner, all are perfectly sharp & square. Both opening edges are in great shape too. The rear panel is perfectly clean & unblemished with just a thread of dried glue from manufacture in the lower left corner. Both seams are smooth & unstressed and the spine clean & perfectly worded.You won't see another as good as this.Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
