Description
For sale here is the substantial collection of classical vinyl LP’s from the estate of the late Thomas Miller. 127 in total.
Thomas devoted his life to his work as head gardener for Lewisham Borough Council, winning many awards at the Chelsea Flower Show, and also to his love of classical music, hence this impressive collection.
He often travelled from his home in Kent up to London to many concerts in the Festival Hall amongst other venues. He met many famous conductors on his travels.
As you can see from the list in the photographs, there are a number of rare and valuable records in this collection.
We have done our research through the internet and taken advice from several informed people and dealers.
Whilst we haven’t checked every record, please be assured they will be in excellent condition. Thomas was very particular.
They were played through high end Quad Hi-Fi equipment.
Please note :- This collection will only be sold in its entirety, so please don’t ask to buy individual items.
Delivery.
As you can imagine, this will be a bulky and heavy package.
We intend to despatch in wooden crate(s). Please be assured, we will do our utmost to package them securely. The price quoted is an estimate.
They will be dispatched via courier at cost. Please ignore the listed EBay postage cost.
We are heading South from the Isle of Skye to Kent via Yorkshire mid October so could perhaps arrange to meet and exchange, after discussions and cleared funds of course, prior to delivery.
Of course, should wish to travel to Skye, pick up would be good and encouraged.
As mentioned, these will only be sold as an entire collection.
