Description
This was Chuck Berry’s second album. The album continued Berry’s momentum as one of the most influential blues and rock ‘n roll performers of all time. The music and musicianship on this album are astounding. Berry is backed by some of the greatest blues men ever including Willie Dixon on bass, Lafayette Leake on piano, and Hubert Sumlin on guitar. But Berry is the star of the album. He shows off his guitar prowess with several instrumental guitar tracks. It’s a fantastic and historic album. This album was released on Chess in 1974, number LP 1432. This is a reissue of the album originally released in 1958. The vinyl is in beautiful condition with its bright original luster and just a couple of very light surface scratches that barely impact play. It plays with just very light sporadic background noise. The vinyl grades VG+. The album cover shows some wear and has split on part of the one side.
