Chrome - "Chrome Box" 6xVinyl LP Box Set.

Original 1982 US-issue 6xLP Limited Edition Box Set on Subterranean Records.

Complete with both of the original inserts (the original info/artwork insert for the box contents, plus the original Subterranean mail-order sheet.)

Rare "Chrome Box", containing box-only pressings of 3 of the band's early albums ("Alien Soundtracks", "Half Machine Lip Moves", and "Blood On the Moon") - all have completely different label designs to the regular albums.

Also included were 3 more LP's of non-album material - "The Chronicles I" and "The Chronicles II" were eventually reissued as separate albums in Europe in the late 1980's, as was the 3rd LP from this box, the "No Humans Allowed" compilation of early Single/EP material.

All of this material is from the band's "classic" Damon Edge/Helios Creed period.

Hard-to-find collection from this legendary San Francisco band.

Immaculate Vinyl (except for "Alien Soundtracks"), Great Box (see detailed gradings below).

Condition :-

Vinyl -
Half Machine Lip Moves, Blood On the Moon, Chronicles I and Chronicles II - All EX Plus, All pretty much clean and unmarked. Virtually no sign of any play or handling.
No Humans Allowed - EX - Just a small, faint, superficial mark on Side 2.
Alien Soundtracks - VG - Vinyl is in top condition, all clean and unmarked - but has a small (but noticeable) edge chip. The main playing groove is NOT affected - though extreme care will be required if you want to play the record from the lead-in..... - See close-up photo. Since the set as a whole looks pretty much unused/unplayed, It's probable this one sneaked out of the pressing plant in this condition...

Box - EX Minus
- No writing, No edge, spine or corner wear, No splits.
- Just a very faint ringwear mark on the INSIDE of the (hinged) lid. Hardly noticeable.
- Tiny (1cm) "dull spot" on the front, from sticker removal.
- Original "Chrome Box" Decal Sticker still intact on the front.
- Original "Limited Edition" Decal Sticker still intact on the back.
- Just the very lightest of general handling/storage marks.

Inserts -
- No sticker marks or writing, No ringwear.
- Main Logo insert is EX, with just the very lightest of surface creasing.
- Mail Order insert is EX Plus, - clean, flat and unmarked.

Labels - All EX Plus
- Clean and unmarked. No wear, writing or sticker marks. No spindle marks. No fading.

Purpose-designed mailing/packaging materials will be used.

Your record(s) will be well protected against the rigours of normal handling/shipping, including getting wet in the rain!

All records are packed outside of their main packaging (in a new plain inner where necessary), to avoid sleeve splits in transit.
