Description

Lily Fields and Bad Bascomb Band Disco Santa (3:15) / Disco Santa (3:48)
Spectrum Records of N.Y.C. The Dick Gregory Crusade SP-138 1976 VG+

This is a terrific soul disco record with very soulful diva vocals a la Loleatta Holloway and great horns and background vocals, not at all the throwaway novelty you might expect. The B-side is a more extended version of the A-side.

Note the small sticker on the B-side label.

Apologies for the reflections in the photos.
My auctions are listed as "no international shipping" because of the excessive cost and delays these days. However, if you really want something and are willing to put up with both the cost and likely delay, please feel free to bid.

Goldmine Record Grading Standards:

Mint: Absolutely perfect in every way.

Near Mint (NM or M-): Nearly perfect, no visible defects, no surface noise.

Very Good Plus (VG+) or Excellent (E): May show slight signs of wear, slight warps, or minor signs of handling, that do not affect the listening experience.

Very Good (VG): Lacks most of the original gloss found on factory-fresh records. Groove wear and light scratches are visible. The record has surface noise, and some scratches may be audible, especially in soft , but the noise will not overpower the music. Label may include minor writing, tape or a sticker.

Good (G), Good Plus (G+) or Very Good Minus (VG-): Significant surface noise and groove wear, and the label is worn, with significant ring wear, heavy writing, or obvious damage.

Poor (P) and Fair (F): Records are cracked, impossibly warped, or skip and/or repeat when an attempt is made to play them.
