Description
Chris Staples Blackest Hair TEST PRESS. These were made for a 10th anniversary 180gram edition of Chris Staples first solo album, Blackest Hair Bluest Eyes, that never saw the light of day. There are 15 black tests and 15 red with black swirl tears, bringing this records availability to a whopping 30 total, which were split evenly between the three of us original investors in the project. It was cancelled because there were some audio issues that couldn’t be corrected, but the majority of the album plays just fine. Cut by master producer Jeff Powell on the old Stax lathe houses at Ardent Studios in Memphis, TN. This is for the avid Chris Staples/twothirtyeight fan. It’s never been played, pulled out of its box for this picture and placed back until it’s time to ship to its new home.
