Description
Chris Montez was one of the first Hispanic singer/songwriters to cross into the American and British rock 'n' roll markets with the 1962 No. 4 smash American hit on Monogram, "Let's Dance." and the same single reaching the same position in England in 1962 on the London American Series.. He was also way ahead of the average rocker as a songwriter, and later had soft rock hits such as "The More I See You." Label of this LP is purple with LONDON LONG PLAYING AMERICAN SERIES on top of label."Recorded by MONOGRAM, Hollywood" is also on the label.Record itself is near mint. Cover, soft as European albums were fifty years ago, shows some creasing andminor discoloration, and some ring-wear. Label is white which may emphsize the stains--which are minor.12 songs on album. Mono. LP plays well.
