The Chocolate Watchband's first LP, "No Way Out", certainly a Holy Grail LP for Hard Psych, is difficult enough to find in EX condition for a stereo version. Here I have the first and only incredibly rare Mono copy I have ever seen. The mono version sounds really great, loud and strong. In fact, this being one of my favorite LPs of all time, when I first listened to this mono version I could tell that the mix is so much clearer and could tell what both guitars were playing note for note. This is somewhat buried in the stereo mix. In my opinion the mono mix is far superior to the stereo mix. This album is incredibly rare and nearly never listed for sale. Not to mention in EX condition all the way around.

Cover - The cover is bright and clean. Even the white back shows no marks or wear. The artwork on the front shows no fading what so ever. The spine is perfect, there are no seam splits or other damage at all. If it would not be for a very small bb hole at the top left of the cover it would certainly be rated NM, but because of that I will rate it at EX condition. It also comes in it's original white inner sleeve having the bb hole in the same location.

Record - The LP plays beautifully, loud and strong. It does show a few paper marks and a couple of very light hairlines under bright light. There is a bit of background noise mainly between tracks or in very quiet parts, but it would be a very enjoyable listen for nearly everyone. So the LP is also rated EX condition. It is not NM but is better than VG+.

Label - The brown tower labels are extremely clean and barely shows any marks at all. There are no spider lines, but side 1 shows just a bit of wear right around the edge of the hole.

All in all this is an excellent package with a rating of EX/EX. Please ask any questions you may have. It may be a long time before you see another copy in Mono so please bid like it's the last one on earth. Thank you.
