Description

Mobile Fidelity's half speed mastered audiophile reissue of the first Chicago album, the two lp Chicago Transit Authority.
Cover:  shows minor shelf wear, some scuffs and minor crinkles at the corners.  I kept this in a plastic sleeve for all of its life so it is in great shape.  Comes complete with original rice paper sleeves and cardboard stiffening inserts.
LPs:  looks great, I am sure there are minor ticks and pops as this is a used record.  I purchased this used in the late 80s or early 90s and have cared for it as an audiophile would.  There are rings around the spindle holes (see picture) from the record clamp on my Ariston turntable and it is not a sign of abuse.  These lps have only ever been on high end turntables, Ariston and VPI, and treated to high end cartridges.  (Grado, Sumiko).  I have not played through these in years but do not recall any troubles with them...however I am sure there is some surface noise in the quiet sections.  This is an lp, after all, so don't expect CD silence.  Do expect killer musicality and realism...I so loved side 4 with that awesome jam "Liberation" killer basslines and well done brass.
