Chicago At Carnegie Hall COMPLETE Box Set 4 Vinyl LP Records 3 Posters Book AND Voter Insert
This Original Box Set of Chicago at Carnegie Hall 4 Album collection is absolutely truly COMPLETE with everything... INCLUDING the Voter Insert which is very rare and hard to find. Most people selling these box sets aren't even aware that it originally came with this voter insert. It was obviously inspired by Nixon and the Watergate Conspiracy. It talks about how difficult and confusing the voter registration had become and lists all 50 states and the requirements and regulations for each one pertaining to 18 year olds voting. The Band was attempting to make it easier for more young people to register and get involved in trying to change things with their vote. It is in Mint Condition!
This set also comes with ALL 3 Posters. Most sets for sale have only 2 or even less. The posters are all in Excellent to Mint Condition except for a tear in the BIG, 3'x4', 12 square foot Poster. The tear is only about 4 inches and there is none of the poster missing... just torn in that one place on the bottom.
Also included is the book that came with it, which is also in excellent to near mint condition. It contains some GREAT pictures of Chicago Band members. The back cover is a list of all the dates and locations of where they played starting with May 22 - June 3, 1967 at the Stardust Lounge in Rockford, Illinois and ending with Nov 25 - 27, 1971 at the Arie Crown Theatre in Chicago, Illinois. Many locations between those two including their World Tour.
The heavy duty album sleeves are all in excellent condition as well, however the vinyl albums themselves are not in great shape. There are 4 albums, so obviously 8 sides and they are each in different condition. One in particular has a white mark on it that looks as if it could be cleaned, however we have chosen not to try for fear of damaging the vinyl. We thought the new owner may know more about how to handle it or may want it professionally cleaned. That particular album is NOT in great shape either. Besides the white mark it has a lot of scratches... not seriously deep, just scratched and scraped. 
And then there's the box itself. It is worn and ripped at the opening as shown in the pictures and there is a drip of what looks like white paint on it which is also shown in the pictures. Otherwise it's in pretty good shape.
