On offer in this particular auction is the out-of-print 4-LP set "THE COMPLETE PACIFIC JAZZ STUDIO RECORDINGS OF THE CHET BAKER QUARTET WITH RUSS FREEMAN", Mosaic MR4-122. This set was released in 1987, and is of a limited edition of 7500 sets. This particular set was not numbered.
This offered set is in near mint plus condition with the discs being very lightly and carefully played. Specifically, outside of the expected minimal to average shelf wear these sets are as new with the boxes, original inner sleeves and the records with no cracks, rips, tears, marks, etc. The enclosed booklet inside and out is clean, unmarked and uncreased. My love affair with these sets goes back to 1983 when I bought my first sets (the Monk and Mulligan) at the Jazz and Blues Record Centre in Toronto run by Bill Smith/John Norris, who published Coda magazine back in the day.
