Description
Chess Records, predominantly a blues and R&B music company, also recorded some rockabilly performers in the mid fifties. The album has the original recording of Suzie Q, written and performed by Dale Hawkins - which was then covered by numerous sixties British R&B bands, particularly the Rolling Stones and then a great version by Creedence Clearwater Revival in the early seventies.
The LP and record sleeve are in near mint condition with no scratches or signs of having been played.
