Description

This is part of a large auction of blues, doo-wop & R&B 45's on Chicago-based labels from the 1950's/early 60's. Several Chess, Checker, Vee-Jay and more. Many promos mixed in. Even a few from more obscure labels.

Release: Howling Wolf - I Better Go Now / Howlin' Blues

Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1959


Notes: White label promo first pressing. Earlier single by the master of electric blues. Classic Chicago sound on this one with a great echoing intro.


Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with hardly any wear at all. Looks very clean and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all - sound just leaps off this one.  Labels are nice with no marks/tearing/stickers. Just the slightest bit of scuffing. This is a nice copy overall.
