Description

This is the second part of my big auction of Specialty Records 7" 45's. Specialty recorded many great artists in the blues, R&B & gospel genres among others. All of those will be represented. There will also be a selection of a few rare bonus listings from other labels.

Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1952


Notes: Blue label original first pressing. One of the rarest Muddy Waters records and one of the hardest to find Chicago Blues discs around. There has never been one of these on Discogs.  I have sold this same record twice before and it was returned (you can probably search up those listings) so I'm asking that you please read the FULL description before you bid. Classic acoustic blues tracks on each side here. Just outstanding stuff. 


Vinyl Condition: VG, The vinyl here is quite clean with just a couple of very small surface scuffs. The labels are clean with no tears or stickers and just some light scuffing.  The issue is a small warp right on the right edge.  I have heated/pressed it once, but I was just too nervous to press it more.  If that was flattened this would be a solid VG+.  It plays very well after the first few seconds and sounds just phenomenal. See the video, there is some bumping/popping in the first few rotations.
