Description

THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS - ELECTRONIC BATTLE WEAPON 7

Virgin/Freestyle Dust promo (CHEMSTDJ20)

Hotter than hot as always, the brand new instalment in THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS’ super-limited ELECTRONIC BATTLE WEAPON promos.

A series of very limited pre-release promo-only tests of forthcoming tracks, in the past these have NOT subsequently been released as singles (with the exception of EBW 5, of which a re-edit appeared as IT BEGAN IN AFRIKA) and hence remain highly collectable to the end.

EBW 7 - also apparently known as ACID CHILDREN - is a stupendous slice of chemical tweakin’ acid funk, presently being championed by the likes of Sasha, James Lavelle et al, as well as being road-tested at THE CHEMICALS’ recent gigs. Utilising a vocal here and there from - I can reveal - A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET PART 2: FREDDY’S REVENGE of all places, this is a genuine 134bpm acidic clubland battle weapon.

Please note that this is an OFFICIAL Virgin/Freestyle Dust promo and not a bootleg of any kind. Beware of the bootlegs which appeared earlier this year of the previous EBW promos (collectors note that the original pressings are all mastered by Mike at The Exchange only, as here).

A genuine piece of highly collectable electronica, this is most definitely worth robbing that old pensioner for. Here also in perfect, unplayed condition.

A - ELECTRONIC BATTLE WEAPON 7

Vinyl in mint/unplayed condition; in plain promo sleeve.

PAYMENT: Payment required within 14 days of end of auction. Paypal required for international purchases; Paypal, personal cheques or postal orders for UK.
