Description

This is part of a large auction of blues, doo-wop & R&B 45's on Chicago-based labels from the 1950's/early 60's. Several Chess, Checker, Vee-Jay and more. Many promos mixed in. Even a few from more obscure labels.

Release: Little Walter - It's Too Late Brother / Take Me Back

Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1956


Notes: Maroon label 1st pressing with the "guitar neck" pattern. Early single by Walter, two tracks that did not appear on his classic Best of Little Walter LP. Both of these are classic harmonica-driven blues tracks.  A-side is a little more upbeat and the b-side has more of the traditional Chicago sound.


Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with hardly any wear at all, one superficial scuff across Take side. Looks very clean and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all.  Labels are nice with no marks/tearing/stickers, but do have some light scuffing. This is a nice copy overall.
