Description

Mega Rare 10" LP of Charlie Parker with Strings (Mercury MG-35010 - mono) Original black label edition - NOT a re-issue.  Extremely rare early tracks featuring Bird along with Ray Brown, Buddy Rich and others in a legendary classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.

The LP is in VG/VG+ condition with plenty of marks that will make noise - especially side two track one - NOT for the audiophile - actually not too bad for an old Parker 10", but you will definitely hear noise.  The David Stone Martin designed cover is in VG+ condition with general age/shelf wear and clear tape on all seams.  NO writing, NO stickers, NO stamps.  A rare 10" artifact you're not likely to see again in any condition.

The LP will be carefully packed using professional materials (over twenty years experience safely selling jazz LPs around the world).

Mailing costs have gone up.  Postal rates have increased, the cost of record mailers have increased and e-bay now charges a fee for mailing (in addition to Paypal’s fees on mailing payments).   I have done what I can to keep mailing costs down, but I have no control over these increases.

International mailing costs:   International overseas mailing (Europe, Japan, Asia etc…) for one LP would be $29.00.  This reflects increases in postage costs, e-bay fees on shipping, Paypal fees as well as mailers and packing materials.   One LP to Canada would be $20.00

US mailing costs:  Media mail rate as calculated to a U.S. address.  This reflects increases in postage costs, e-bay fees on shipping, Paypal fees as well as mailers and packing materials.
