* Up for your consideration is a super rare Charlie Parker~ 1950 Interview and Star Eye, Ornithology and Dynamo A

This was acquired from a collection of a record industry insider that was involved with West Coast Jazz legend, Hampton Hawes.

From the plain white labels it looks like some kind of special pressing.

Side One: The interview with Charlie recorded in 1950 (just 5 years before his death)

This amazingly rare interview with Charlie Parker covers:

-when he received his first sax

-his automobile accident when he was 17 years old

-how when he first started playing the sax at 16 he faked his way through "Lazy River" and "Honeysuckle Rose"

-his first job at a resort in Missouri

-he talks about his father and his work in the circus

-his mother getting her nursing degree in her 60s

Record: Near Mint ; Nice shine; No scratches.
Cover: Plain paper cover

NM (Near Mint): Record and cover are like new.

EX (Excellent): Record is in beautiful collectible condition with only very minor signs of playwear and scuffing only visible under strong light; will play very close to perfect. The cover will be near perfect with the odd cut out or small corner bump.

VG+ (Very Good Plus): Record will still be nice and collectible with only some light surface scuffs or scratches, but nothing deep; the sound should be great, with minimal if any noise. Cover may have some ringwear or seamwear.

VG (Very Good): Record will be in nice playable condition but clearly used with a fair amount of hairline scuffs or scratches; still a very decent shape for a vintage record. Cover may have splits and wear but still acceptable.

VG- (Very Good Minus): Record will be much used with a lot of surface marks but should play through enjoyably.
