Description
Blues 78 rpm phonograph record on Paramount by "Papa" Charlie Jackson (1885-1938) recorded in August 1924 in Chicago, Ill.
"Papa's Lawdy Lawdy Blues" Vocal Blues, Banjo Acc.
"Airy Man Blues" Vocal Blues, Banjo Acc.
Condition: (both sides) using L.R. Docks record guide grading system both sides start off a strong V+ with surface noise increasing on both sides towards the end of the record. For an accoustically recorded record 86 years old it plays well and is still enjoyable. No chips or cracks. There is a visable scratch on the 'Lawdy Lawdy Blues" side that does not skip when played through but I thought I'd mention it.
Shipping to be via USPS medial mail in the U.S. No international sales on this item please.
