Description
Here's a wonderful collector's item: Charlie Christian Memorial Album, Vintage 10" Three Box Set on Vox Records.
The records look good with some slight scuffing and some scratching. I have not attempted to clean them. The jacket cover is in decent condition with some corner wear. This album is filled with indispensable and memorable tunes.
Inside copy on the record: Some reminiscenses by Jerry Newman about Charlie, Minton's and the birth of Be-Bop.
Charlie Christian on guitar with the Minton's House Band: Joe Guy on trumpet, Thelonius Monk on piano, Nick Fenton on bass, and Ken Clark on drums. Recorded on location by Jerry Newman.
