RARE Vox Records (VSP 302), 3 78's, Mono, "Spotlight Series"
Charlie Christian, widely feted as the father of the jazz electric guitar, performs "Stompin' At The Savoy" and "Charlie's Place" on this astounding 3-disc set. Featured personnel include: Joe Guy, trumpet; Thelonious Monk, piano; Nick Fenton, bass; and Ken Clark, drums. All three records appear to be in E- to E condition, with some noticeable groove wear and a few scuffs and scratches.Bid with Confidence!
