SEALED. Was able to secure two copies of Volume 1, with another copy or two of Volume 2 before you know it.


So I’ve seen the name Charles Tyler float around certainly. I picked this up and started reading the first paragraph of the liner notes on the back and knew I should have been holding this particular record.


Mentioned with names like Albert Ayler… Billy Bang… Ronnie Boykins & Steve Reid (Sun Ra Arkestra, anyone?)!?!?!


Steve Reid plays drums in this quartet, even. Tyler is on alto while Earl Cross plays the trumpet & Levin Ross holds down the bass


Sessions here were performed / recorded in Sweden (shout out) but this is a US pressing.
