Description

FIRST UK VINYL PRESSING OF SOUGHT-AFTER POST-BOP ALBUM!
Seldom seen in UK auctions is a beautiful FIRST UK PRESSING of Charles Tolliver's 'Charles Tolliver and his All Stars' (Polydor 2460-139). All UK first pressing characteristics are present. I have fully play-tested the vinyl, so my grading is based on how the record actually sounds, as well as how it looks.
Vinyl is strictly graded in Excellent condition - the audio is lovely and clear with just the occasional faint pop/crackle in quieter passages. Visually the vinyl has its original shine and looks like it has seen relatively little play - there are no marks on either side and this is reflected in the beautiful audio soundstage.
Cover is strictly graded in Excellent condition - overall grade just brought down by faint ringwear, a couple of small corner creases, and a couple of what look like staple marks causing tiny bumps.

Note that I separate the vinyl from the outer sleeve for postage to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me, and in the way I'd like to receive them.

All items are play-tested throughout, and I strive to be comprehensive and fair in grading descriptions. If you require any further information, including photos, then let me know and I'll do my best to help.
