Description
What It Is: This is Mosaic Records' release of Charles Mingus' complete 1959 CBS recordings. As with all Mosaic Records releases, the packaging and audio quality is excellent. This set contains 4 LPs, and aa 16 page booklet with pictures, session details, etc. This item is numbered (inside the booklet) as # 1749 of 2500.
I purchased this new and played it once on a high end system. It's been carefully stored in a mylar sleeve. The disks are strictly as new and are graded M-. In preparing this auction, I've noted some very minor scrapes on the box, but I suspect they were there when I arrived the set -- this set has been extremely well cared for.

Condition:
Box: M- / VG++: The bottom of the box has a little scuff in the middle, very light scuffs on right and left bottom edge of the front cover slick (on the black portion, not the white, or inner picture).Record:M-: The vinyl is perfect. Labels may show one very light spindle mark, but I believe it was there from new.
Grading standards:
All items are visually graded, and if they've been play graded that will be noted. I follow Goldmine grading standards. My grading is conservative, at least as good as I would expect from anyone that I would buy from.Payment:
