Candid CJM 8005
USA mono deep groove first press of this great 1960 Mingus quartet session with Eric Dolphy, Ted Curson and Dannie Richmond.
Record condition: VG visually / VG+ audibly Shallow stylus lines and surface marks, but no deeper scratches. Plays better than it looks. There are a few scattered ticks/pops, but in general the sound quality is solid.
Cover condition: VG Front and back looks great, just some light tape residue near the spine. Spine has heavy wear, as is the case with many Candid LPs due to the brittle paper they used. The slick on the bottom half of the spine is worn away almost completely, exposing the cardboard underneath. Nearly all of the spine text is gone. The top and bottom seams are in much better shape, just very small splits at the open side corners.
