Description

Please read my description carefully before bidding.  I will ship the item worldwide and will accept a free return if it doesn't match the listing description.

This one is a first mono pressing of Charles Mingus's MINGUS AT THE BOHEMIA.  Issued, in the USA, by Debut Records (Mingus own record label) in 1955. Catalog number DEB-123.  Original blood Labels with deep groove on both sides.   This one is an original pressing version not a re-issued version.  Recorded live at the then renowned Cafe Bohemia in a Jazz Workshop style.

Charles Mingus (bass, cello), Mal Waldron (piano), George Barrow (tenor saxophone), Eddie Bert (trombone), Willie Jones and Max Roach (drums).

The vinyl played NM on Side A.  Side B has background noise during many passages. I think it caused by recycled vinyl, material that used in the production of vinyl itself. The music still nice but there is some hissing background like small raining, most of the time. Thus, I rated this side only VG+.
