I am selling some very nice copies of extremely scarce 45's from my collection this week and next week on eBay. I hope you will visit my other listings to get an idea. I don't think you will find these records in this condition anytime soon. Please don't be offended by my high starting bid, I just didn't want to fool with reserves and we all know what these records are bringing. Thanks in advance, you won't be disappointed! First, I want to apologize for the photos, the color is off on my digital camera, the label is white in color, not yellow, as you Stax collectors know. Up for auction is a very rare 45 for collectors of the Stax label. As you know, Stax started as Satellite Records in the late 50's until they were made aware of a California label already using that name. They then changed the name to Stax. They released a dozen or so 45's on the Satellite label, most are extremely valuable. This is Charles Heinz doing Prove Your Love b/w Destiny Satellite 101. Oddly Don Willis' Satellite Record Boppin' High School Baby b/w Warrior Sam shares that same catalog number. Don Willis on Satellite goes for about $1500. This record has been played a lot, VG- condition, plays fine without skipping, some sheen. Slight edge warp does not affect play. (slight) Scarce in any condition. Labels have soil showing and ring wear being a white label, but no writing. All the records I am listing came from one individual who stored them in record cases since the 50's and Most have small stickers and/or small pencil numbers.
