Description

Charles Brown and Band, "Trouble Blues"/"Confidential" (Vogue 45/V 9065). A late-’50s UK issue of Aladdin 3342. Note the period triangle-in-a-circle centre. The unpictured side has an official "Sample Record (Not For Sale)" sticker, almost certainly because this was a review copy. It was acquired by the seller from the Melody Maker jazz and blues journalist Max Jones.

Condition: visually this is a very satisfactory copy, showing no signs of wear or damage. There is some surface noise – intrinsic to the pressing, not the result of wear – but it has no serious detrimental effect on the music. Clean labels. Plain paper sleeve.

A very scarce item in excellent condition.
