Description
Impossibly difficult to find 10 inch Lp from Charles Brown on Aladdin catalogue number 702. Released in 1952. This is a black vinyl copy. The condition of the cover is VG. There is a seam split on the bottom about 4 1/2 inches and on the top of 1 inch. The back cover has faded from the original white and shows some light ringwear and a couple of minor spots, see photos. The front cover also has light red ring as if someone had traced the record with a pen although it is quite unobtrusive. The lower left corner has also begun to split. Overall the cover has held up very well for a 54 year old record!! The record itself is a VG- but still a very pleasant listen. There are light marks and a couple of very light scratches although the record plays through without skipping and the surface noise DOES NOT overpower the music.These do not show up anywhere very often, the last one I found was $6,000.00, so you do not want to miss this opportunity!!
