Charlemagne Palestine - Strumming Music - Lp - Shandar - very rare
solo piano minimalism...for fans of: Terry Riley, La Monte Young, etc....AWESOME.
"Strumming Music is a work developed over the past five years utilizing a note alternation technique with the sustain pedal of the piano constantly depressed. This technique allows the undampened strings to resonate and compound with each other creating complex mixtures of pure strummed sonority and their overtones. No electronics or special tunings are utilized; only the finest instrument available today, the Rolls Royce of pianos, “Bosendorfer” of Vienna, all of Mr. Palestine's piano works have been composed especially for this marvelous instrument."

cover: VG+/VG++ (very nice with a little slight wear/dings. does have two light 'cut' marks on front cover, not bad)
vinyl: VG++/NEAR MINT (very very clean, side a is flawless, side b has a small 'bump' or something at the very edge/start of the track that clicks for the first 20 seconds, but is'nt really bad at all. you'll hear slight surface sound but that's to be expected). NO visible scratches at all..

USA: single LP = $4.00 (media) or $7.00 (Priority shipping). packaged well in lp mailers & padding. add $1.00 for additional discs/items (double albums), etc. Canada: add $1.50 to usa rates (media=economy, priority=air)
Europe/World: single LP = $11.75 (airmail), sorry for high price, but lp padding raises cost) or $8.50 surface (surface takes up to 8 weeks). $2.00 for each additional items. some destinations can be slightly more.
Buyer, PLEASE pay within 7 days of auction end (paypal / bidpay = 3 days), PLEASE write (communication is key!) if you want to wait for other auctions to end before payment, and combine shipping (10 day limit on bidding/payment)
