LP a copertina non apribile, facente parte della collana Limited Edition “European Rock Collection”, con inserto aggiuntivo riportante i testi in italiano, giapponese, con note biografiche discografiche. Obi a colori riportante il prezzo di yen 2.200

Cervello: gruppo di Napoli, strettamente legato agli Osanna, data la presenza di Corrado Rustici, fratello minore del chitarrista di quel gruppo, Danilo. In maniera simile agli Osanna il Cervello ha sviluppato un'interessante fusione di sonorità progressive con ritmi tipici della tradizione mediterranea e dell' Italia meridionale.  Il gruppo fece un'ottima impressione al "III Festival d'avanguardia e nuove tendenze" tenuto a Napoli nel giugno 1973, e si sciolse nel 1974. Alcuni dei musicisti continuarono a suonare, come Corrado Rustici che si unì agli Osanna per il quarto album Landscape of life e più tardi ha suonato con i Nova e come solista. Il cantante Gianluigi Di Franco collaborò con il percussionista Toni Esposito negli anni '80, senza mai abbandonare la musica con la sua attività principale nel campo della musicoterapia, fino alla morte nel 2005. Un grande gruppo che avrebbe meritato maggiore successo.

Melos è il loro unico e splendido, pubblicato dalla Ricordi nel 1973 con sette lunghi brani, c'è un riuscito intreccio tra voce e strumenti. Il suono è caratterizzato dall'uso di strumenti acustici come il flauto e i sassofoni (ben quattro dei cinque musicisti suonavano il flauto) e le chitarre acustiche, ma l'album non si può assolutamente definire un disco acustico, con cambi si ritmo elaborati che possono ricordare a volte i King Crimson di Lizard.

Cervello: Naples group, closely related to Hosanna, given the presence of Corrado Rustici, younger brother of the guitarist of the group, Danilo. In a similar manner to the Hosanna Brain has developed an interesting fusion of progressive sounds and rhythms typical of the Mediterranean and of the 'southern Italy.
