Description
Original yellow-orange label, black text, deep groove, mono. 5 tracks. Leader, Cecil Taylor, piano; Buell Neidlinger, bass; Dennis Charles, drums; Archie Shepp, tenor sax (on 2 tracks). 2 tunes are standards and 3 are Taylor originals.
Cover: Good 10" split on the spine; 1" split on the bottom edge at the insert edge. Scotch tape has been applied over this 1" split but it has also split. 2 - 1 1/2" sections of scotch tape have been applied to the spine corners. These seem more for protection than repair. 1" scotch tape has been applied to the bottom edge at the spine, also, seems to be for protection. 3" scotch tape has been applied to the top edge, also, seems to be for protection. Light aging on the front and back cover.
Record: Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. No markings on the vinyl surface. Possibly played only a few times with care. Side A, Track 2 has 1 click. Some light groove noise on the last 2 or 3 revolutions on Track 2 on Side B. Fine, collectable condition. Audibly checked.
