MINT - New/never opened
NEAR MINT - Very little signs of being used
EXCELLENT - Light surface scratches or scuffs
VG plus - Medium surface scratches or scuffs
VG - Playable but has visual wear
G plus - Considerable scratches and scuff, but still plays. Jacket is in terrible condition.
G - Plays, but may skip. Either the cover is torn significantly or is not there altogether.
Record - VG+ - Jacket - VG - There are some scratches that do not affect playback. The jacket shows some signs of wear, but no tears or separations. There is some wear at the top, but the hinge still works on the lighter.
