Here's your chance to win this massively rare and very sought after Catapilla Lp, especially in this stunning condition !!! This is the original UK 1st pressing on the highly regarded Vertigo swirl label, released in 1972 !!! So if you're a serious collector of rare UK Progressive / Psychedelic records, don't miss the chance to win this nearly impossible to find gem.
The unlaminated die cut cover is in GREAT condition, it shows very few signs of age and wear ; some slight wear near very tips of corners, a very tiny crease at right hand top corner, a very small ring mark and a tiny bit of wear at rear side near top left corner (See pics). There are no writings, stickers, repairs or anything visually disturbing. Some negligible minimal wear that most sellers do not bother to mention. The gatefold with the insect's head is intact and the spine is perfectly legible.
The record looks as new with its just pressed shine as if straight from the pressing plant !!! A side has 4 hardly visble little marks of about 2 millimeters on beginning silent parts, from manufacturing it seems since there's only 1 spindle mark on B side that prove that the disk has been played only once, if ever !!!!
The labels are super clean and the original spiral sleeve is intact, just a bit of yellowing near lips (see pics).
Due to this album's extreme rarity, i have put a £ 750.00 reserve.
