Description

An original pressing on Pink Rim Island in the UK around 1970. Matrix A2/B2. Etching 'RL' @ Sterling = Robert Ludwig. The record comes housed in an original cover quoting the early Island address of 'Basing Street' with the pinched spine ends. Also included is the original inner sleeve which had the Cat Stevens doodles on them.
Vinyl (Ex) In superb shape and has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection we struggled to make out a single mark. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback. Intro and inbetweens are quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is minimal we could only make out a touch of ultra light static in one or two places - that really is all. The audio quality is breathtaking and has clearly been mastered to a very high standard.
Cover (Ex) Has clearly been looked after and has no significant defects. Just a bit of light handling wear and nothing else. Edge wear is minimal and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) Slight ageing, but no splits or marks.
