If you like fire in your jazz singers, and fierce intelligence, pull up a listening chair. This is early Carmen McRae, doing stuff that will disarm you.
Wonderful renditions of GOOD MORNING HEARTACHE, BUT BEAUTIFUL, MY FUTURE JUST PASSED, STAR EYES, and I DON’T STAND A GHOST OF A CHANCE WITH YOU, among others.
The original 1955 Decca promo (a pink label instead of the black and silver), in a jacket without fault, crisp, despite its years; heavy platter is entirely unmarked and should play near mint or close.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $16 via airmail for the first LP, $4 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
