Description
Carla Thomas Gee Whiz b/w For You Satellite 1009 Very rare first label for this classic disc. Satellite initially released the record locally in Memphis before Atlantic picked up the rights to it for national distribution on Atlantic. Of couse shortly thereafter Satellite changed it's name to Stax and the rest is history. This disc seldom turns up for sale and when it does it is usually worn and in off condition. This is a splendid copy as the wax is a beautiful glossy VG+++ (close to M-). There is a very mild storage warp that has no affect on play. The A side label has a name written on it and a little wear on both sides from storage. Overall a great copy of this rare first issue.
